My experience with SelfBuild, Canada was positive from start to finish. Stephen was attentive to my specific requests regarding removing and rebuilding a challenging set of steps and landing. I was given a clear, detailed estimate outlining the work to be done and materials used. To a man, the team was polite, competent, patient, and remarkably hard-working. My project was completed in good time and to my satisfaction. This is an exceptionally professional, reliable and skilled group of people. I recommend them unreservedly.

Can't say enough about Stephen and his crew at self build Canada!! The job ran smoothly and efficiently, with an great finished product. Would highly recommend Stephen for any future work. His wealth of knowledge is great and didn't hesitate to answer any questions or give advice. Our project was a basement slab pour with limited access and radiant flooring. Stephen took the time to make a couple trips out to verify everything was ready to go for the big day, and made sure everything was thought through for no hiccups day of. He ensured everything was good and at no point was there an issue through the day! Very pleased with the final product!! Thanks again for everything

Great experience with Stephen and his team! We redid our patio recently and were very happy with the results. The team was professional, very hardworking and did the job well in a timely manner. Stephen always kept us in the loop as to what was going on and the team definitely went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this team and plan on using them for other projects. Thank you!

I recently hired Stephen and his team for some concrete work in my basement, and I couldn't be happier. Despite the physically demanding nature of the job (it was a tricky spot) he and has team had genuine willingness to help make my home safe for me and my kids as soon as possible. His dedication to the project was evident from the start. Throughout the process, he had excellent communication, keeping me informed about the progress and a proposing adjustments to save me money and do the job right. It was a relief to work with someone who values transparency and honest. Not only did Stephen get the job done right, but he also completed it quickly without compromising on quality. I was impressed by his efficiency and attention to detail. I have complete peace of mind knowing that it was done correctly. I will definitely be reaching out to Self Build Canada again for any future projects!

We had an excellent experience from start to finish with Self Build. Stephen and Carlos helped us fix an exterior brick wall. Carlos worked tirelessly all day and did excellent tuck pointing work. The wall looks great, and we are very happy with the work. We'd definitely reach out to them again for more work- Stephen was extremely organized, communicative, and helpful- we really appreciated the time and consideration he took in discussing the ways we could approach fixing the wall when he gave us a quote. Thank you both again!

Enlarged my doorframe for me. Responsive communication, a man of his word, did what he was going to and answered all of my questions throughout and took pictures before he sealed anything up. I would use his services again and appreciate the straight and honest approach

Stephen is the man and his crew is fantastic. The quality of their works was fantastic, even better than I expected and faster too. Stephen as quick to answer his email for a consultation, he came by the same day to have a look at quote it out and gave me a fair price on the spot. We agreed upon on a date and then when my schedule changed he bumped by work to be done the net day. Turnover time and workmanship was truly top notch. I have nothing but great things to say about this business and if I ever need any masonry done again I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.

The best-ever contractor! Starts early & worked late. On time & on budget. Highest quality of craftsmanship. Beyond impressed with Stephen O’Keefe, his partner Fergus, and the remarkable stone masons (who are truly artists) Kevin, Dean & Brock. We live in Toronto and have worked with several general contractors while owning our home, for the past 20 years. Our experience with Stephen, Fergus and their team, was the very best. We are already planning our next project with them. Highly recommend!

It's been very difficult the last few seasons to find contractors willing to do small jobs. I was extremely pleased that Stephen was able to help on such a short turn-around. 4 days after our initial contact, concrete pour & finish for 10' x 10' shed pad was complete. The Self Build Canada crew were on-time, friendly, knowledgeable and worked quickly. Results were professional, with an eye for detail that made me very happy. I can't say enough about Stephen... knowledge, professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and excellent communicator. He even offered helpful advice on finishing the remainder of my projects. Genuinely good guy. Couldn't ask for more from a contractor. 5 stars.
